The Medical Assistant (MA) supports the daily activities of Nursing Services. The MA provides clinical assistance to clients seeking medication support services and performs routine in-house testing as ordered. In addition, the MA assists with medication services at the residential facilities and Clallam County Respite Center (CCRC), and maintains appropriate connections with pharmacies and other medical providers throughout the community.
Responds to crisis/emergency situations. Provides mobile crisis intervention, clinical assessments, and stabilization services to adults, children, and families. Provides involuntary treatment services according to RCW 71.05, 71.34, and 70.96B (Involuntary Treatment Act).
To provide oversight and guidance to WISe team members in the provision of clinical wraparound services to children and families. Also provides therapy services for children and adolescents in collaboration with the agency partners, parents, or guardians caring for them. Serve as a lead role on a WISe team providing voluntary wraparound services to families with high acuity needs. To improve the operations of Peninsula Behavioral Health (PBH) in support of its mission. To provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers.
